The race

Nearly there! Now all I had to do was swim across the wide lake and I would win the race. I could see the orange trophy on the other side of the lake. Within a minute I found myself swimming  to the other side. Wait... is that a crocodile!?!? I swam as fast as I could and felt something " chomp " on my foot. Turns out my " crocodile" was just a little fish. My lungs were burning. Pushing through I swam to the other side of the lake. I walked out the lake and collapsed, I had won the race!

Mindful Messaging

Messaging can be  a bit of a problem sometimes as people misunderstand the emotion of some texts. You cannot see the persons facial expression as you cannot see their face or hear their tone as you cannot hear their voice, so it is difficult to know how the person is meaning things, because of this some people get hurt. In this case you can use emoji s or you must put more detail into you text. for a task we have been told to make a poster for our grade fours telling them more about mindful messaging. This one is mine.

Op elf jaar oud...

Rooi is so ń mooi kleur.... Dit is seker hoekom dit my gunsteling kleur is. En vir my is Taylor Swift se musiek die beste musiek en ek is ook mal oor Sushi. Dit is net so lekker! Mylaya hou ook van sushi ( sy is my beste maat ) en ons is baie dieselfte. Einklik hou ons albei ook van die selfte fliek: The Twilight Saga. As ek nie besig is met skool, huiswerk, flieks of om op my iPad te speel nie, hou ek daar van om te teken en te lees. En na skool hou ek van sport. Ek speel hokkie en sagtebal. En soos ek gesê het, ek how van lees en die beste boek wat ek nog gelees het se naam is " Ruby Redfort ". Ek het baie respek vir Nelson Mandela en my ouers. Eendag wanneer ek groot is, wil ek grag ń Veeharts word.( Ek is mal oor diere)

Ek hat vier doelwitte wat ek wil bereik wanneer ek 16 is. Ek wil baie graag eendag Frankryk toe gaan, so ek wil leer hoe om Frans te praat, so ek gaan maar ń app op my iPad aflaai. Ek wil graag beter raak in hokkie en ek gaan elke dag oefen. Ek wil Meer oor diere leer so ek sal ń noek oor julle koop. Ek wil ook ń bietjie fikser raak, so ek sal begin gym toe gaan.

My Draak...

My draak se kleure is donker en warm. Met haar massiewe vlerke kan sy hoër as die donserige wolke vlieg. Daar bo in die lug is daar nie so veel goed om te eet nie. So Alice ( Alice is my draak se naam ) sal gewoonlik maar net haar skerp kloue gebruik om bome te klim en om voëls te vreet. Sy het ń klein maar lyfie. As sy haar vlerke toe vou kan sy in haar ondergrondselêplek slaap vir die nag. Ongelukig is haar stert so lank dat hy by die lêplek uitsteek. Maar dit help partykeer want die klein haartjies op haar stert waarsku haar as prooi naby is. My draak se kleure is rooi, oranje en geel. Dit is dieselfte kleure as die sonsopkoms en die sonsondergangs. Vir hierdie rede is dit haar mees suksesvolste tyd om te jag. Die ander rede hoekom sy so suksesvol is in jag is dat sy die prooi uit die lug uit kan slaan met haar lang stert. Sy is ń majestieuse draak en ek is baie lied vir haar. ❤️

Interesting ILT

The last few days we have had ILT , fun and learning. We have done a lot of assessments ( but fun ones ). On the first day we did a math assessments, we had to tally bugs that were on a PowerPoint, then we had to draw a picture and a column graph. We also got a research task to do, we had to choose a animal or bug which lives in the soil and when we had the research we had to make a poster about it. My partner and I did a Fennec Fox and I think our poster turned out really well. There were a lot of other posters that also looked really nice. We also did a oral with our partner about our animal and i did not enjoy it that much, but it wasn't to bad. I really  enjoyed ILT. my partner and I did not have any conflict at all.

100WC Challenge 1 - My Guardian

 After driving all day, we arrived at our new house. Mom told me to pick my own room. Excitedly, I ran through the long passages and saw a closed door. The door opened and there it was ...there was a huge wolf. Strangely I wasn't scared. It turned its head to look at me with beautiful golden eyes, then disappeared out the open window. I wanted to tell mum, but she wouldn't believe me. That night the wolf appeared again. It slipped in quietly and laid down by my bed. In the morning it disappeared just as quietly. Alex now keeps guard every night...

Cool camp

As we drove up to High Africa there were a million thoughts going through my head,imagine all the fun things that were going to happen and what about our cabin mates were they going to be ok? As we got there. We got time to pack out had the best food...... After that we did activities and every day a different group did different things. M" the walk to freedom" it was a opsticle course, then we got a break and after did the leap of faith, for that we had to get on a huge course and jump off! We also did a night hike. But those were just my favorites , but there were a lot more.
