Reflection on the Senior Primary
When I first came into the Senior Primary I was SUPER exited to start a new year, meet new people and learn a lot of interesting, new things. I had so much fun and I really did enjoy being in the Senior Primary. I really enjoyed the fact that in Grade 6 we started to move around in different classes so we got a taste of each teacher and how they teach their subject. It was definitely a big change compared to the other years when we all just stay in one class, with one teacher the whole year. these past three years went by so fast and I can't believe I will be going to High School next year which is practically in less than two months.... For the 2018 grade fours I will tell you that this is a very important, exiting and fun part in your life. You will meet new people in the next few years in your life... The ILTs are very fun.

Integrated Learning Task - Growing up
We have a ILT every year. ILT stands for a integrated learning task. This year our ILT was about growing up and all that type of stuff. I found it very fun and interesting. The boys and the girls were split up. The girls spoke about a few different things like - friendship, peer pressure, personal hygiene, self image and we had a chat about social media. The talk I least enjoyed was the talk about social media because it was long and that it went on for a little to long and that it dragged a long. We had to choreograph a physical theatre dance and perform it in front of the grade. This was a very fun ILT and I definitely learnt something.

The fair
We were at the fair. The sun was shining. Everyone was happy and cheerful but then the weather changed dramatically... The rain was pouring and the wind was blowing. The tents went flying, poles were falling, people were SCREAMING. It was chaos! Bill boards were falling over. I was scared but so was every body else. I could feel my heart racing as I ran of into the open. There was lightning and thunder. I saw a pole flying towards me and I felt it hit my head. I fell to the floor.... I woke up in a hospital bed. Everything would be just fine..
Email Etiquette
We were learning Email Etiquette in IT. I did enjoy this project. I think using the hyperdoc the first time was a good idea. It was fun exploring this new page. I did learn a few things about email etiquette and about using hyper docs. I enjoyed watching the videos, I found it a fun and creative way of memorizing the information. This was a fun project and I think next years students will enjoy it.

He's actually a WONDER-ful kid
We have been reading a book in class called Wonder, written by Raquel J. Palacio. It is about a boy named August who was home schooled his whole life and then he has to go to school for the first time in his whole life and meet a bunch of new people. Oh and what makes this story interesting is the fact that that boy is in fact deformed.
What stood out for me when reading this book is the fact of how much people will try make one little boy fit in. The children may not be very nice to him but the teachers and adults in the school actually ask other kids to be friends with him. They are kind and act as though August is normal and they treat him the same.
After I read this book it has definitely changed me. I see people and things differently now. I understand the concept that people are different and you have no right to judge them on the way they look. I understand that some people will never understand that and there will always be rude people out there and no one can really change that. You just have to make sure that you, yourself are being as nice as you can be.
I think I would relate most to Auggie because i am NOT the most popular kid in the school and I'm not "perfect". I don't have a million friends and I'm not a super model, but that doesn't make me a weirdo, a bad person or a freak and I feel it's very ''cruel'' for people to judge you over these things.
Reading Wonder really has changed me and how I see things. I have seen the trailer for the movie and i am really looking forward to watching it. I really advise the book. It has changed me and it will change you too.

Ivy Rose
The stop-motion project is a project where we are put in partners and then we make our own super hero or villain and make a stop-motion movie about him/her. We created her as a ninja super villain who is always plotting schemes. We made her because we really like the idea of being able to create our own character. If I had to change something about her it would be to make her skin smoother, because it makes her look untidy but we did not have enough time to finish her. For me the highlight of this project was when we made the background scenes in the movie because we had a lot of fun painting with different techniques. I had a lot of frustrations when we were making our characters eyes.

The artwork
Well that's great! A new art project due for tomorrow and I didn't have a clue of what to make. The brief is to make something using newspaper. I was hungry and I wanted to get in bed, wait that's a good idea I could make something food related, like a hamburger. I started of right away plastering newspaper to form two hands and a patty, two buns, lettuce and cheese. It was done! It looked amazing and just looking at it made me hungry. Im so glad I finished and just in time! I am so relieved and proud.
